The transmission of personal data using the communication tools made available by the Site (e.g. application forms), which is done on the basis of a freely chosen, explicit and voluntary option by the users, involve the personal data acquisition in order to reply to any request submitted. The processing of personal data, carried out for the purpose of sending advertising material, commercial communication or direct sale of products or services, will be done only with the prior user consent given by ticking the appropriate checkbox. Navigation data
The information systems and software procedures relied upon to operate this Website acquire personal data as part of their standard functioning and for the sole period of connection; the transmission of such data is an inherent feature of Internet communication protocols. Such information is not collected in order to relate it to identified data subjects, however it might allow user identification per se after being processed and matched with data held by third parties. The processing of personal data will take place in accordance with Veneto Banca's Ethical Code, lawfully, in compliance with the Legislative Decree no. 196/03, respecting the fundamental principles such as confidentiality, relevance, non-redundancy and, in general, respecting the freedom and the fundamental rights of the Data Subject. Personal data are lawfully and fairly collected only to be used for the previously identified purposes and they are processed using manual and electronic means, consistently with the aforementioned purposes in order to ensure data security and confidentiality. Personal data could also be processed by subjects that are allowed according to the law, to secondary legislation or to Community legislation. Personal Data will be retained no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they are collected.
The Data Controller (eventually in collaboration with the technical staff, properly appointed as Data Processor or Person in charge of the processing) takes the necessary security measures to minimise risks such as disruption, data-loss, unauthorized access or personal data processing not allowed or not in compliance with the processing purposes, as referred to in Article 31 of Legislative Decree no. 196/03.

Categories of subjects to whom the data might be disclosed

In order to discharge the activities previously identified, the Data Controller can also contacts third party subjects located both inside and outside the European Economic Area – with which specific agreement has been made – belonging to the following categories:
• companies of Veneto Banca Group, controlled, controlling and connected companies;
• subjects that perform activities for the management of contacts required by users;
• subjects that perform activities related to the selection and the management of human resources (in relation to the user requests on "Lavora con Noi/Work with us");
• subjects that provide services for statistical analysis of website usage.

Data subject's rights

Data subjects are entitled, at any time, to obtain the confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them and to be informed of their contents and origin, to verify their accuracy, or else request that such data be supplemented, updated or rectified (Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/03). The above Article also provides for the right to request erasure, anonymization or blocking of any data that is processed in breach of the law as well as to object in all cases, on legitimate grounds, to processing of the data.
