CASSA DI RISPARMIO DI FABRIANO E CUPRAMONTANA

Cassa di Risparmio di Fabriano was founded in 1845 on popular initiative and thanks to the intervention of Pope Gregory XVI. From the beginning the bank showed particular attention to the needs of the community, which were answered partly by constant acts of charity. In 1940 Cassa di Risparmio di Fabriano merged with the Cupramontana bank, hence its current name.

Together the two savings banks became a new institution that ranged from serving the agricultural and artisan sectors to offering important products and services also to industry, providing support for the great economic development of local companies.

Having grown considerably, the bank was thus able to increase its presence in the province of Ancona, in other provinces of The Marches, in Umbria and in the city of Rome.

Today Carifac is part Veneto Banca Group and shares its Mission: to be an innovative and independent group, a leader in its local communities, able to provide quality services and to ethically and responsibly create value over time for shareholders, clients and employees.
