Banca Apulia

Banca Apulia originates from Banco di Torremaggiore (1924) and took its current name in 1996.

Controlled by the Chirò family, the bank is tied by long tradition and historic presence to the territory of Puglia.

In 2009 Banca Apulia signed an agreement with Veneto Banca to create a banking hub in southern Italy, merging by acquisition Banca Meridiana (which had been founded in 2002 by Veneto Banca) into Banca Apulia, then merging the new Banca Apulia into Veneto Banca Group.

Today Banca Apulia, strengthened by the merger of the two banks, has a network of 105 branches spread all over Puglia and Basilicata, but also operates in Campania, Molise, Abruzzo, Lazio and Marche.

Banca Apulia serves businesses, institutions and families, in line with the mission shared by all banks in the Group: to be a leader in its local communities, providing quality services and to ethically and responsibly creating value over time for shareholders, clients and employees.
